Mihai’s Sea

Friday, March 26th, 2010

A poem by Mihai:

My sea

My sea is unique
But I will share it with you:
It is swarming with wonderful creatures.
Full of bright colors
Swimming in a crystal clear paradise.
At night the show begins:
Glowing jelly fish swarm about in the dark sea
Lightening up the corals.
In the deepest depths
There are gigantic dinosauric creatures
Crowding up for food.
Gigantic bubbles freeze up
At the bottom of the ocean
And plants grow within as if in green houses.
And once in a billion years, the Bubbles
Swing  themselves  off,
Travelling to islands nearby
Where they pop up
And set the plants free.
There, they’ll root themselves
As trees,  on the sandy beach…

About God’s Nature

a5524mic

Today I drove to Paradisio with Mihai and Alex. Maybe it was our destination that inspired us in our conversation, who knows. Anyway, here it is:

Mihai: I think God was created by the Nature.

Dan: What?!

M: Well, they call it Mother Nature, don’t they?

D: Indeed, but do you really believe that?

M: Sure, Nature is everywhere, without it, there can be nothing.

D: What about the other planets?

M: They are made out of molecules, so it’s the Nature again.

D: OK, but God is something spiritual, that goes beyond matter. It has to do with the soul for instance.

M: The soul is like the smoke. If you take a picture when someone dies, you can see that smoke. So it’s still matter.

D: The Nature doesn’t have a will. It cannot create things by itself. Maybe there is God above it.

M: No, I always thought God was selfish. It wants to be Father and Son at the same time so that nobody can inherit from him. I think the Nature creates all things and don’t try to make me change my mind!

D: No, it’s good to have your own opinions but think about this: what if, what you call Nature, other people call God?

M: …   Yes, that must be it! …   I’m really glad we could figure this out between the two of us. This is a great finding, but maybe even more important is the fact that we realised that you don’t need to be a genius to understand this! You don’t need to be great at math or anything.

Abstract art is a product of the untalented, sold by the unprincipled to the utterly bewildered.
Al Capp
US cartoonist (1909 – 1979)

I wouldn’t go that far, but I have to admit that, in the end, it’s dead boring.
